WINTER SOLO DANCE 2012 . All getting better and better, great results, loads  through heats and into semi finals, 8 through to solo dance finals, in every group we had entries, culminating in a gold for Livvy. Another gold on Sunday for Tobias osp, a silver Team of 3 Olivia, Georgia and Catherine, and also a bronze for Holly Ryle. But most importantly, everybody (All 22 skaters competing and performing better than every before. WELL DONE

Lewis Melia - Prelim solo dance, Georgia Hargreaves and Olivia Green -Inter bronze solo dance

 Well done and congratulations to our skaters that represented Great Britain in Holland during half term. They skated beautifully, working so hard for this experience abroad, everything was new to them, travelling with GB team, staying in an hotel with just their peers (parents had to stay away !). They had freedom, and yet were able to get themselves up, ready and packed each morning to be on the coach as early as 6.00 am !!!!
They approached the competition with trepidation and came out of it stars, so well done to Anna Wilson, Olivia Green, Georgia Hargreaves, Catherine Oldbury, Jonny Brookes, Sophia Burns and Sarah Blackmore.

BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 26/27 MARCH - 6 Bolton skaters attend and entered the british championships in Peterborough last Saturday and Sunday.   CONGRATULATIONS to Holly, Hollie, Saffron, Emma, Olivia, and Anna.  Fabulous results for your very, first championship.

12 December, More congratulations today to our skaters for passing their dance tests, 15 in all, Well done to Sarah, Sophia, Catherine, Jonny, Catharine, Becky, Tobias, and Anna.

5 December - CONGRATULATIONS TO IAN ORCHARD FOR PASSING HIS FARS ASSESSORS COURSE FOR GRADES HAVING DRIVEN TO COVENTRY IN THIS FOG AND ICE AND SNOW. WELL DONE IAN.
 
21 November - 2nd ANNUAL CLUB COMPETITION AT SMITHILLS SCHOOL 10 till 5
What a brilliant day was had by all, skaters were fantastic, judges so hard working, thank you to Hannah, Tracey, and Mary. Parents were great and added so much support to the day, by cooking wonderful meals for us and to all those who added their support in other areas, music desk, calculating, selliing of raffle, tombola tickets and also for supporting the childen by coming to their special day.

20/21 November - WINTER SOLO DANCE, Peterborough
Well done and congratulations to all our fabulous skaters that competed over the weekend at the FARS solo dance comps.  First time for many doing an original Set Pattern Dance of their own choice. Brilliant skating by all skaters with some winning medals. Medals for Jonathon Brookes, a first for dance and a 2nd for OSP. Gold for our team of Sarah, Sophia and Catherine. Down to the last ten for Anna from a starting number of 53!  and also for Catharine, Sophia, Sarah, Becky for getting through their heats.
